AFTER… I had a great time in Copenhagen I took a train to Gothenburg to spend three more days there. The weather forecast was really bad, especially for day 2 and 3. Since the weather for the first day looked more promising I decided to take a trip to the Southern archipelagos – a good decision. I took the Fuji X-T10 with the XF23mm F1.4 and the Olympus OM-D E-M10 II with the M.Zuiko 75mm F1.8 / M.Zuiko 8mm F1.8 Fisheye Pro with me to take some nice photos on the trip.

Ferry

The ferry goes at 10:45 am in the direction of Vrångö including several stops in-between. The trip is very cheap, you only have to spend some Euros. It’s a great way to visit the archipelagos without spending much money. It’s possible to leave the ferry on one of the stops and get back on board on it’s way back in the late afternoon. I went all the way to Vrångö, here are some impressions from the ferry.

Vrångö

I had some hours to discover the island. Besides a nice harbour I saw some well-maintained houses and enjoyed the impressive view at the coast. I had a bad sunburn after the day because the weather was much better then expected :). Here are some impressions from the island:

I can highly recommend the day-trip – Gothenburg is not very big so if you have some time left consider visiting the archipelagos, it’s worth it.
